2012 Kia Rio Review

The Kia Rio series will get a brand new addition into its ever expanding portfolio with the impending arrival of the 2012 Kia Rio model. The new vehicle model is due to debut on the 2011 Geneva Motor Show set to be held this coming March. It will be the first opportunity for consumers to witness the Rio 2012, which has stirred a lot of buzz since it was officially announced for release. Kia Motors has issued a press release to provide some details on this brand new model and it is expected to release September of this year in the UK.

The sedan style is available in three different trim versions namely SX, LX, and the entry level version. Meanwhile, the hatchback style is available only as the SX version.
The dimension for Kia Rio 2012 will sport some changes as compared to the previous models released off the series. Notably, this one will be 55 mm longer, 25 mm wider, although the height has been dropped down by as much as 15 mm. You can also expect a longer wheelbase for the 2012 Kia Rio, which is approximately measured at 2,570 mm. There is also an enhanced cargo capacity for this new release, which is estimated at around 292 liters along with an improved carbon emission quality of 85 g/km. It therefore means that this is an eco-friendly vehicle that makes it really efficient as a choice for car to drive.
2012 Kia Rio will also be sporting a new design that will offer a brand new interpretation of the signature grille that was popularized by the Kia brand. Headlamps have been incorporated into the body such that this car sports a brand new look. In addition, the strong wedge incorporated into the body and design makes it even more noticeable, especially with the improved body-glass ratio that offers a dynamic stance.
Quite a few important features are available in Kia Rio 2012 for fans who wanted to enjoy maximum comfort and functionality with this vehicle model. Some of those features that are available across all versions of the vehicle are the adjustable driver seat, tachometer, 14-inch tires, power steering, tilting steering wheel, split rear seat, CD player, air conditioning, metal pedals, rear spoiler, among other things.
The 2012 Kia Rio also offers strong and powerful performance with its use of four-wheel drive power train. It offers the 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine as the main engine option, which can produce a maximum of 10 horsepower. It is also available with five-speed manual transmission as the main transmission option, although you can switch to automatic if you like. For those budget-conscious drivers, you can delight in the fact that this is a fuel-efficient vehicle with an estimated 35 mpg on the highway and 32 mpg on the city streets.
